Remove the spring bars from the old strap, and reuse them to mount your new strap.
Whether you need to replace a worn out band or just want a new look replacing a watch band is easy and cheap compared to buying an entirely new watch.
Be aware that you may need to purchase a very specific watch band to replace your existing rubber band, depending on exactly how it connects to the watch case.
If you have determined that your band is attached with small screws through the lugs, you will need a small screwdriver, or another tool to remove and replace the strap.
The strap consists of two pieces:

Then move it into position between the lugs, pressing the bottom of the spring bar into the lower lug.
Pull the long part of the strap out of the floating keeper, so the two layers of the strap are separated.
Make sure the cloth or soft pad is clean.
Make sure both ends of the spring bar securely snap into their holes, or the strap will fall off the watch.
